DAVID MANGENE'S BIO

I think it’s such a thrill when a client goes above and beyond their own potential to speak the language.

I discovered my passion for language early in life. I graduated from University with an English degree and moved from America to the Netherlands. I started teaching at the prestigious Regina Coeli Language Institute (better known as the Nuns in Vught). I left nine years later to start House of English and pursue my own vision.

I believe that having confidence as a speaker is just as important as grammar and vocabulary. That’s how we design our courses. My years of experience as a performing musician and stand-up comedian inspire this teaching.

After work I play tournament golf, read anything I can get my hands on, and commit to my dream of building House of English.

NATASCHA VALE'S BIO

What I love about coaching
is seeing people’s expressions
that say “I can’t do this” at the beginning of the course turn into excited, laughing faces. During the course they figure out they’re really learning to speak Dutch
and using it in their daily lives.

My passion for new challenges brought me to House of English in Utrecht in late 2007. I bring a wide range of corporate experience to the table, having worked as a project manager and marketeer
for over 10 years.

In my free time I love trying new restaurants, getting my hands dirty in the garden and having a good laugh with my husband, David Mangene and two sons, Mickey and Timo.
